Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking aCertified Nurse Assistant for the evening shift at MercyOne Dubuque. The NA will assist patients with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse and provide care aligned with our mission and policies.

Requirements include being at least 16, with one of several credentials (Iowa registry, 75-hour CNA course, EMT, or military medical training), plus BLS and ongoing training. MercyOne offers a full benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must meet at least one of: active on Iowa registry or proof of 75-hour CNA course or EMT Certification or military medical occupation training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months and every 3 years thereafter.
• BLS within 30 days and every 2 years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide holistic, compassionate patient care under RN supervision.
• Support care as per MercyOne mission and policies.
