Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team for the evening shift. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide holistic care, and support physical, emotional, and spiritual needs consistent with the MercyOne Mission.

This role involves 36 hours per week, weekend and holiday rotation, and adherence to facility policies. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and candidates must meet one of several registry/CNA/EMT options.

Qualifications

• Must meet at least one of the following: Iowa registry (required for long term care nurse assistants in Iowa), 75-hour CNA course, EMT Certification, or formal medical occupation specialty from military.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, compassionate, individualized patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support physical, emotional, and spiritual needs consistent with MercyOne Mission and policies.
• Assist in maintaining patient comfort and safety in accordance with unit procedures and standards.
• Work schedule includes 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) with Evening Shift and weekend/holiday rotation.
