Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a Nurse Assistant to join our inpatient care team. Under supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist patients with activities of daily living and provide compassionate, holistic care aligned with our mission.

This full-time position offers a 0.9 FTE schedule with day shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm, and opportunities for growth within MercyOne Health System. A high school diploma, registry proof, and BLS certification within required timeframes may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a 75-hour CNA course or equivalent.
• EMT certification or military medical occupation training is acceptable.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
• Active registry or state requirements may apply depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide compassionate care.
• Support the nursing team under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Deliver holistic care aligned with MercyOne’s mission and policies.
