Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center is hiring a Nurse Assistant to join our caregiving team. The NA works under the supervision of a registered nurse and helps patients with daily living activities, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in line with our mission.

The role is part-time (0.4 FTE) with weekend and holiday rotation, and requires some combination of Iowa registry status, CNA coursework, EMT certification, or prior military medical training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age (child labor laws apply).
• Must meet one of the following: active Iowa registry, CNA course completion, EMT Certification, or military medical occupation training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living to support independence and comfort.
