Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. in San Diego State University’s campus seeks a Part Time Faculty Staff Club Food Service Associate to assist in dining operations and deliver responsive customer service.

You will set and reset dining room tables, replenish items, process cash and card transactions, stock supplies, and maintain clean workspaces while following policies. A high school diploma or GED is required; Food Handler certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Food Handler certificate from County of San Diego preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Sets, buses, and re-sets dining room tables.
• Replenishes clean dishes and beverage glassware; handles up to 20 glasses.
• Replenishes food items at buffet, salad bar, and dessert area; may assist with food prep.
• Processes cash and credit card transactions.
• Assists with stocking/restocking of inventory and replenishment of food items, utensils, and napkins.
• Maintains clean work areas, tools and equipment.
• Provides quality customer service while complying with policies and standards.
