Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. at San Diego State University is seeking a Part Time - Food Room Attendant to maintain clean dining areas and support guest services in Bell Pavilion building.

Responsibilities include clearing tables, sanitizing areas, managing trash, assisting other departments, and following safety and health regulations. This role requires flexibility to work opening, mid-day, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Food Handler certificate from the County of San Diego is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and clears tables throughout the dining area.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, chairs, restrooms, and perimeter of building.
• Clean/sanitize, empty trash, and sweep the dining area.
• Helps manage Aztec Shops recycling program.
• May interact with dining customers through answering questions, concerns, etc.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Observes safety and company policies, including health regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
