Job summary

Absolute Storage Management seeks a Property Manager (Client Happiness Hero) to oversee rental operations, assist customers in person and over the phone, and coordinate marketing activities to grow occupancy and revenue. The role emphasizes delivering excellent service, maintaining facility appearance, and ensuring smooth daily operations for tenants.

The position requires a high school diploma, sales or retail experience, and a proactive, multitasking mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service environment preferred.
• At least 1 year of property management experience preferred.
• Background + MVR screening will be conducted at time of hire.
• Driving position requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, by phone, and via advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes.
• Resolves issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well-organized records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections to ensure timely and consistent completion.
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed.
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws.
• If at a participating location, assist tenants with completing, processing and returning rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned rental truck services.
