Job summary

Absolute Storage Management in Madison, AL is seeking an Assistant Manager, a Client Happiness Hero & Master of Multitasking, for roughly 24 hours a week at our Madison locations. You will assist customers with unit rentals in person, on the phone, and via marketing opportunities, aiming to grow sales and provide excellent service.

The role emphasizes fast-paced customer interactions, problem solving, and maintaining clean offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through marketing opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and guiding rental processes.
• Resolves issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily office cleanliness and organization; keep records and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed.
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws.
