Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health’s West Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support operative procedures on a part-time basis (24 hours per week) during daytime shifts. The candidate will prepare and provide sterile instruments and equipment, ensuring aseptic technique throughout each case.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, with CST or NCCT/other certification preferred. BLS is beneficial, and prior perioperative experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology is required.
• Surgical Technologist certification or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with perioperative procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Performs skin prep and clipping as indicated by the procedure.
