Mercy Health is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for Kings Mills Hospital. The role involves preparing sterile instruments, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining aseptic technique during procedures. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology and certification by CST/NBSTA/NCCT.

Formación

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) preferred.
• Must be certified CST, NBSTA or TS-C (TS-C not accepted in Cincinnati); NCCT required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Performs skin prep and clipping as indicated by the procedure.
• Adapts to special instruments, supplies, and equipment as needed.
