Mercy Health is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for Kings Mills Hospital. Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) preferred.
• Must be certified CST, NBSTA or TS-C (TS-C not accepted in Cincinnati); NCCT required.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Performs skin prep and clipping as indicated by the procedure.
• Adapts to special instruments, supplies, and equipment as needed.
