Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operative team at The Jewish Hospital. You will prepare sterile instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and assist with intraoperative instrumentation and setup.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent surgical technology certification, plus CST/ NBSTA or TS-C or NCCT certification and BLS preferred. VA residency caveat applies if applicable; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational certification in surgical technology is required.
• Must maintain aseptic technique and provide sterile instruments during procedures.
• Experience in perioperative or related surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Performs skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
