Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for West Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time, 24 hours per week daytime shift position supports the surgical team by providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree or vocational/military Surgical Technology cert, CST/ NBSTA/ NCCT certification, and at least 1 year of perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Must be certified: CST or NBSTA or TS-C (TS-C not accepted for Cincinnati); NCCT certification required.
• One year of perioperative / operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Executes complete case preparation and adapts to special instrument, supply, and equipment needs.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operating room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
