Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for home care in the Wilson area. Schedule includes Monday–Wednesday 12:00–17:00 and Friday 13:00–16:00, with excellent pay.

You will provide direct patient care in patients' homes, assist with activities of daily living, and support the care team following the Plan of Care. You will document care activities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety while upholding patient rights.

Qualifications

• Maintains required certifications and upholds professional standards.
• High school diploma or GED preferred for the role.
• Clear reading, writing, and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the home setting.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and safe ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervising clinician guidance.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diet plans.
• Offer companionship and engaging activities for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping as part of home care.
• Maintain accurate client records and report changes promptly.
• Document tasks in EVV or time sheets as required.
• Adhere to Plan of Care and never administer medications.
