Job summary

Central Piedmont Community College is seeking an Admissions Specialist to manage admissions processing and enrollment advising for CCR programs. You will guide prospective students through the intake and notification process, using CRM systems and campus resources to help students select educational and career goals.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and experience with college systems. A preferred Associate degree and prior higher education experience are a plus; strong

Qualifications

• Experience in standard office procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with college systems and document management tools.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to guide students through admissions and enrollment processes.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet potential students and enroll them into the CRM.
• Advise prospective students via email, phone, in person, and virtually.
• Review intake forms and refer to placement testing when needed.
• Input and update student information in databases and spreadsheets.
• Explain policies and program requirements to students.
• Help students plan courses to meet program requirements and goals.
• Coordinate with Testing Center, Advising team, and CCR coordinators.
• Maintain and update the LEIS form for the program.
• Keep abreast of admission requirements and revisions; send notifications.
• Send electronic notifications and updates to prospective students.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
