Job summary

North Carolina Community College System is seeking an Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator for the Johnson Building main campus in Kentucky. This role manages admissions applications, maintains Colleague data, and serves as the on-campus Financial Aid liaison to support a smooth transition from applicant to enrolled student.

The position requires an associate degree and at least three years in admissions or student services, with strong communication and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Three years of related experience in admissions, enrollment services, student services, records management, customer service, or computerized data entry.
• Experience entering and maintaining data accurately in a computerized information system and the ability to learn Ellucian Colleague.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day admissions and enrollment processes and ensure applicants receive timely communications and next steps.
• Accurately enter, update, verify, and maintain applicant and student information in Colleague, CFNC CrossConnect, and related systems.
• Serve as designated backup to the Registrar for student-record, registration, transcript requests, and enrollment verifications.
• Act as on-campus Financial Aid liaison, assisting with document submission and routing to the Director of Financial Aid.
• Collaborate with Registrar, Financial Aid, and other departments to resolve enrollment issues and support a smooth transition from applicant to enrolled student.
• Participate in New Student Orientation and other onboarding activities; engage in recruitment events and outreach.
