Job summary

Southside Market & Barbeque in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service associate. You will greet customers, answer phones, know the menu, and assist with dine-in and to-go orders.

Responsibilities include handling transactions with a cash register, maintaining cleanliness, and following TABC regulations for alcohol sales. Prior cash handling and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience and ability to greet and assist customers.
• Must be able to use a register and handle cash accurately.
• Fluent English required for all job duties.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates well with customers in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction
• Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrates suggestive selling
• Packages food correctly for dine in and to go orders
• Ensures order completion and accuracy
• Uses register to track all transactions
• Demonstrates accurate cash handling abilities. Complies with Cashier Accountability Policy
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer
• Follows all TABC regulations for responsible alcohol sales
