Job summary

Southside Market & BBQ Inc is seeking a dedicated part-time team member to support dining room operations in Bastrop, TX. You will assist with pre-bussing, table maintenance and keep dining areas spotless to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

Applicants must hold a Food Handler Certificate and be fluent in English; strong listening and problem-solving skills are essential, plus the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
• Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English.
• Practical problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bussing - Clear plates as needed from guests who are finished eating.
• Clean, sweep and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain clean floors, trash areas and transport dishes to dish area.
• Check all condiment products on tables, refill as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, bathrooms, entry way and parking lot.
• Stock all items in the dining room, soda station, BBQ station and storage room.
