Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Caseworker for the Quakertown Service Center. This part-time role involves recruiting and supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating service programs, and building community partnerships to enhance outreach.

The position reports to the Regional Manager and offers benefits with a meaningful mission. Responsibilities include intake, referrals, data entry, and collaboration with county programs; candidate must meet required clearances and maintain confidential

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent retail/resale experience.
• Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, outgoing with sound decision-making abilities.
• Requires reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Must complete PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, PA DHS Fingerprint Check, and training.
• Must understand and support the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage staff and volunteers for all Quakertown programs.
• Schedule and coordinate activities; oversee seasonal and service initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with funding sources and community agencies; manage local fundraising.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance, conduct client interviews and intake, and prepare reports.
