Job summary

Generations LLC at Carmel Village in Clovis, CA seeks a compassionate part-time caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities and follow care plans with respect and empathy.

Shifts run 5:30 am–2:00 pm or 1:30 pm–10:00 pm on a rotating schedule. Weekend and holiday availability is required. We offer PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 401k match, and on-the-job training to support a safe, engaging workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Description

Caregivers at Carmel Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Part-time in Assisted Living, working 5:30 am - 2:00 pm OR 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm on a rotating schedule. (Shifts will vary between AM or PM shifts, scheduled on different days...not a double shift).
• 8-Hour Shifts, rotating schedule (2 days on, then 4 days off & repeat)
• Must have weekend and holiday availability

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
