Job summary

Generations is seeking caring caregivers at Carmel Village in Clovis, CA. Join our team to assist residents with activities of daily living, following care plans and upholding dignity, respect, and compassion.

Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required; CNA/HH A certification is a plus. We offer PTO, health benefits for full-time, 401k match, training, and a safe, supportive work environment.

Description

Caregivers at Carmel Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Part-time in Assisted Living, working 5:30 am - 2:00 pm OR 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm on a rotating schedule. (Shifts will vary between AM or PM shifts, scheduled on different days...not a double shift).
• 8-Hour Shifts, rotating schedule (2 days on, then 4 days off & repeat)
• Must have weekend and holiday availability

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
