Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily store operations. You’ll help customers find materials, process transactions, and keep the sales floor organized and inviting.

You’ll work with store leaders and teammates in a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to ensure a top-notch campus store experience for students and faculty.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service and a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Flexible schedule year-round, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials and other merchandise.
• Operate the POS system for cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe store that reflects the Barnes & Noble College brand.
