Job summary

The Vaughn Next Century Learning Center in Pacoima seeks a Part-Time Campus Aide to supervise students before, during, and after school and support daily campus operations. Under the Curriculum Coordinator, you will reinforce school rules, assist with safety procedures, and promote a welcoming environment for students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring activities indoors and outdoors, following schedules, and collaborating with campus teams to maintain order and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or its equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs (e.g., Microsoft, Google Drive).
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Team player with cooperative work style and good judgment.
• Ability to maintain appropriate behavior and safety for students.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & supervise children indoors and outdoors before, during, and after school.
• Enforce school rules and safety procedures; support behavior plans.
• Work with staff, families, and students to maintain a welcoming campus.
• Assist with daily campus operations and coverage during supervision periods.
• Report safety concerns to the Principal or designated staff.
