Job summary

Vaughn Next Century Learning Center in Pacoima, CA is seeking a part-time custodian to support daily operations at Pandaland (TK-1st). The role reports to the Site Plant Manager and is non-exempt.

The candidate will perform cleaning, basic equipment maintenance, and support a safe, healthy school environment while collaborating with staff, students, and the public. English communication and basic tech use are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to use a computer and cell phone for basic tasks.
• Clear oral and written communication in English.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Participates in custodial work across classrooms, restrooms, hallways, gym, library and offices.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and performs minor repairs as needed.
• Inspects facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety; coordinates maintenance with the maintenance office.
