Job summary

Vaughn Next Century Learning Center in Pacoima, CA, seeks a Part Time Expanded Learning - After School Assistant Site Coordinator for the Pandaland Site (TK–1st grade). You will supervise students, assist staff, and help run enrichment activities.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisory experience in afterschool or school settings, strong communication skills, and Spanish bilingual is preferred. Pay is $25.50/hour, 29 hours/week, 222 days/year, with sick time accrual.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
• Minimum of one year of experience working in an afterschool program or school setting.
• One year supervisory experience in an afterschool program or school setting preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Professional communication with parents, students, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the After School and Summer Program.
• Assist with student to staff ratio and facilitate classes and clubs as needed.
• Review weekly lesson plans and develop enrichment activities.
• Maintain attendance records and sign-out procedures.
• Implement PBIS practices and create a safe environment.
• Communicate with parents and staff professionally.
