Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking a part-time Technician for the Computer Support Center, primarily based at the Pocono Campus. The role provides desktop, network, AV, and support-center services across NCC campuses.

Strong customer service and cross-campus collaboration are essential. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or two years' experience with audiovisual, instructional technology systems, and Mac/Windows troubleshooting in a higher-education environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Instructional Technology, plus two years' experience.
Associate's degree plus three years experience; or relevant substantial related experience.
Strong knowledge of audiovisual and video-conferencing systems.
Experience with instructional technology in higher education.
Experience with account management systems, desktop image deployment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience with network and print management; Mac and Windows troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide primary technology support for Fowler and Main Campus, including on-site support at Pocono campus.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and tier 2 support escalation.
Collaborate with Desktop, Network, and other staff to install desktop, printer, and AV equipment.
Provide basic technical support for events across all campuses as needed.
Ensure technology work orders are tracked, assigned, and addressed promptly.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
