Job summary

Utah State University’s Venue Services is seeking a part-time student to manage the SwitchBase database, assist with Phase II implementation, and provide on-site event support. You’ll develop training materials and collaborate with campus partners while maintaining accurate records and responding to service requests.

The role offers flexible in-office hours (20–25 hours/week during the school year) and higher hours in summer, with duties spanning data entry, training, and customer support on

Qualifications

• Current USU student or eligible campus employee.
• Experience working with digital tools, databases, or online platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Regularly update the Venue Services SwitchBase database.
• Support Phase II SwitchBase implementation with data entry, updates, and quality checks.
• Provide on-site event support using SwitchBase and track operational requests.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions campus-wide.
• Coordinate with third-party contacts and USU service partners.
• Assist in managing lost & found inventory and accurate records.
• Follow up on work orders and communicate updates.
• Assist in estimates and billing with other Office Assistants.
• Work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed.
