Job summary

Ohio University Southern is seeking a Student Admissions Assistant to welcome prospective students, support recruitment events, and promote the university across the Tri-State region. You will help with campus visits, answer questions, and represent the student experience.

The role is part-time, hourly, 8 am–8 pm schedule with 10–20 hours weekly, requiring current Ohio University enrollment, strong communication, and basic office software skills; training provided and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Enrolled for current or immediate previous semester at Ohio University.
• Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process applications and assist prospective students and guests with inquiries.
• Schedule and conduct campus tours and provide general admissions support.
• Assist with inbound emails and front desk duties.
• Represent the student experience to prospective students and families.
• Support daily visits, group programs, VIP tours, and Q&A panels.
• Staff office front desk and help with outreach activities.
