Job summary

Reedley College is seeking qualified instructors for its Business Administration program to teach in a variety of settings, including evening, weekends, online, or hybrid formats. The instructor will ensure professional conduct, adhere to curriculum, and evaluate student progress.

Qualified candidates will have Master’s in business or related fields or appropriate equivalencies, with knowledge of diverse student backgrounds and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education
• Bachelor’s in any of the above AND master’s in economic, personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree
• Bachelor’s in economics with a business emphasis AND master’s in personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree
• A valid California Community College credential
• The equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency)
• Evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Teaching in Business Administration in a variety of instructional settings and times, including evening/weekends, online or off-campus
• Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics
• Use a variety of pedagogies and instructional delivery systems including technology
• Communicate effectively with students
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines
• Evaluate student progress and maintain records
