Qualifications

• Master’s in accountancy or MBA with accounting concentration is required.
• Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis and master’s degree in related field may be acceptable.
• Valid California Community College credential or equivalent
• Equivalency acceptable as alternative qualification

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional conduct and currency in teaching Accounting.
• Teach Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Applied Accounting and Work Experience in Accounting.
• Use varied pedagogies and technologies for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students and maintain course syllabi and records.
• Evaluate student progress per course objectives and adhere to policy.
• Submit grading and evaluation reports timely.
• Fulfill all duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
