Job summary

Project Access, Inc. seeks a part-time Community Activities & Services Coordinator to design and implement programs for residents of all ages in Jacksonville, FL. You will connect residents with services, drive four pillars, and oversee youth programs from the Resource Center.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, strong outreach skills, and independent work style. Annual schedule includes evenings and weekends with community events and data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in community outreach, resident services, or youth programming encouraged.
• Ability to build relationships and conduct proactive outreach in a community setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs; align with pillars.
• Coordinate after-school and teen programs with homework help and enrichment.
• Plan and facilitate resident workshops and sessions; present core topics if partners unavailable.
• Develop partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan community-building events to foster safe, meaningful relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
• Support food distribution by maintaining food bank partnerships and logistics.
• Maintain strong relationships with property management and schedule regular updates.
• Organize monthly outreach: door-to-door, digital/physical presence in high-traffic areas.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns supporting Resource Center programs.
• Use personal vehicle for supplies and attend offsite meetings; mileage reimbursed.
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar.
• Collect and report program outcomes data with focus on social impact.
