LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time substitute teacher who embodies a mature Christian faith and active church involvement. The role includes delivering LifeWise lessons, maintaining a safe classroom, and following discipline policies.

Training is provided, and duties include record-keeping and community representation. Responsibilities cover teaching as-needed LifeWise classes, implementing curriculum, communicating with volunteers and the teacher, and ensuring a well-run classroom environment

Qualifications

• Must have a mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador in the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
