LifeWise Academy Inc. is seeking substitute teachers to deliver LifeWise classes during school hours, part-time and non-exempt.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and capable of engaging students using LifeWise curriculum. You will teach LifeWise on an as-needed basis, take attendance, maintain records, communicate with the teacher and volunteers, and represent LifeWise within the community according to

Qualifications

• Active church involvement is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, perceptive and able to teach students.
• Proficient in delivering LifeWise curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Support volunteers and communicate plans before class.
• Represent LifeWise Academy within the community.
• Communicate with the teacher and volunteers.
• Keep the classroom clean and well-ordered.
• Know procedures for emergencies.
• Take attendance in each class.
