Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who demonstrates a mature Christian faith and excellent communication with students.

You will complete substitute teacher training, teach LifeWise classes as needed, implement provided lesson plans, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and collaborate with teachers and volunteers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance in each class and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; communicate plans with volunteers and the teacher.
