Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who shares a mature Christian faith and participates in a local church aligned with our beliefs. You will deliver LifeWise classes, implement provided lesson plans, and maintain a safe, organized classroom according to LifeWise policies.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain Records
• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher
• Maintain Classroom
• Know procedures for emergency situations
• Communicate
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
