Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who demonstrates a mature Christian faith and strong communication within a church community. You will deliver LifeWise lessons, implement provided plans, and maintain a safe classroom following LifeWise policies.

Qualifications

A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

Complete substitute teacher training.
Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
Follow the program's student discipline policy.
Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
Keep a clean, attractive classroom and be prepared for emergencies.
Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
