Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Queens is hiring part-time, hourly Autism Aides to support pediatric therapy services across the NYC area. You will provide direct ABA instruction under the supervision of a BCBA, collaborate with the clinical team, and communicate regularly with families to implement strategies at home and in the community.

Requirements include 2+ years with special needs children or current enrollment in relevant undergraduate/graduate programs, plus completion of Achieve Beyond training and

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond 20-hour classroom training and competency exam.
• Experience using ABA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the BCBA's educational plan.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other aides/therapists.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per state and federal regulations.
