Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists in Brooklyn. The role focuses on direct ABA instruction for children ages 2–21, with collaboration from BCBA and other therapists, and ongoing communication with families to implement strategies at home and in the community.

The position emphasizes data collection, maintaining confidentiality, and working in home-based settings, with compensation discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing grade on competency exam upon completion of training.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and have patience and professionalism.
• Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, and sharing resources and strategies for home and community use.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
