Job summary

Sylvania in Utah is seeking a supportive Aide – Behavior to assist students with behavioral, social-emotional, and self-regulation needs. You will help implement behavior intervention plans, monitor progress, and support instructional activities under the supervision of certified staff.

This role serves grades K-5, runs Monday through Thursday from 12:10 to 3:30, totaling about 14 hours weekly. District-required annual training and mandated background checks are required; ongoing collaboration

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• District-required annual training is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor student behavior.
• Provide individual and small group support to reinforce behavioral, social, and emotional skills.
• Maintain records and documentation related to student behavior and interventions.
• Communicate observations and progress to teachers and support personnel.
• Attend meetings and training sessions related to behavioral support and student services.
