Job summary

Tellos, Inc. in Beaufort, SC seeks a Part-Time Independent BCBA (1099) to lead clinically with autonomy and support. You set your schedule and decide on in-person vs. telehealth as clinically appropriate, while we handle staffing and paperwork.

You will conduct FBAs and skill-based assessments, supervise RBTs, monitor client progress with data, and partner with families to ensure durable outcomes, all while ensuring medical necessity and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification required to practice.
• South Carolina LBA preferred for local licensure readiness.
• Residence in South Carolina preferred for on-site opportunities.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong desire for autonomy and ability to manage an independent schedule.
• Comfortable using telehealth supervision and digital data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinically with FBAs and skill-based assessments to design evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to RBTs to ensure fidelity.
• Use visual data analysis to monitor progress and adjust BIPs as needed.
• Document and validate medical necessity in collaboration with admin and payer standards.
• Partner with families through coaching to generalize skills at home.
• Maintain professional practice in line with BACB Ethics Code.
