Job summary

Ability Builders in New York is urgently seeking a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support children with autism. You will develop and implement behavior intervention plans and collaborate with families and staff.

The ideal candidate holds a BCBA certification, a master’s degree in psychology or education, and strong communication skills to train parents and teammates while working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
• BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for children with autism spectrum disorders.
• Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop appropriate interventions.
• Provide training to parents and staff on behavior management techniques.
