Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a cocktail bartender to maintain bar supplies, know liquors, recipes and prices, and ensure accurate cash handling using MICROS or registers. You will prepare daily requisitions and manage garnishes and glassware.

The role emphasizes anticipating guest needs, resolving complaints, and upholding liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter. Extensive knowledge of drinks and pricing is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with all kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware used for each recipe, and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices and types of beverages available.
• Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including MICROS system or registers, bank procedures and tip policies; responsible for charging guests and accurate intake of all monies.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction in each interaction.
• Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.

• Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures to include proper discounting, MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures and tip policies. Responsible for accurately charging the guests for drinks. Responsible for accurate intake of all the monies.
