Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks a Part Time Banquet Supervisor at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. The role oversees all banquet functions including coffee breaks, buffet, plated and reception events, and covers banquets when the Banquet Manager is unavailable.

The position involves training staff, coordinating with meeting planners, and ensuring health standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a banquet facility servicing meals for large events.
• ServSafe certified (Food Handler, Allergen, and Alcohol trainings) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee catered events for 10–2000+ guests.
• Train all Banquet Servers and Back aisle Attendants.
• Fulfill service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
• Communicate with meeting planners to ensure needs are met.
• Conduct pre-meal briefings.
• Prepare tasks for function room settings, diagrams, and side lists.
• Maintain banquet equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
• Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.
• Be creative in buffet and coffee break décor.
• Hands-on role with interaction with clients during events.
• Record keeping (Attendance, Function Reports, Server Evaluations).
• Other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Banquet Manager.
