Job summary

Savara Hospitality Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support banquet kitchen operations on a part-time basis. Shifts cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and adaptability matter for successful event execution.

Role involves exposure to heat, noise, and varying workloads; you’ll help with basic prep, maintain cleanliness, and assist with deliveries and banquet service while ensuring guest experiences remain memorable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, banquet, catering, or hospitality environment is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and remain organized in a busy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed for kitchen operations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part‑time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Support banquet service by preparing trays, restocking supplies, and ensuring items are ready on time.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and small equipment as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing deliveries in accordance with kitchen procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team members to help ensure accurate and timely event execution.
• Perform additional support tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.
