Job summary

Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock, NC is seeking a dependable team member to support banquet kitchen operations on a part-time basis. Shifts include breakfast, lunch and dinner, in a fast-paced hospitality environment where teamwork and attention to detail drive a positive guest experience.

You will assist with basic food preparation, keep kitchen areas clean, restock supplies, follow food safety procedures, wash dishes, handle deliveries, and communicate clearly with the team to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, banquet, catering, or hospitality environment is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and remain organized in a busy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed for kitchen operations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.

This position works in a fast-paced banquet and kitchen environment where teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential. The role may involve exposure to heat, noise, and varying workloads depending on event schedules.
