Our Brand New Westin is seeking a motivated and energized Banquet Captain who will be responsible for planning dining events, managing F&B service, and tending to guest requests and complaints.

Job Duties:

• Ensuring that all food and beverage items are presented and served correctly and noting any special requests & instructions set out on the BEOs.
• Communicating with the culinary chef and catering manager any changes in the schedule of service, challenges, or adverse comments that may arise during the event.
• Ensuring that staff members return all equipment to the storage areas, and confirm the room is left clean and tidy.
• Supervising all banquet staff members assigned to the event.
• Preparing the room in its entirety for a function or event, prior to the guest’s arrival, and reviewing and implementing table and seating diagrams.
• Following all health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with all reasonable bar back duties as required.

• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight up to 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, lifting, standing, and squatting for long periods.
