Job summary

Waterstone Bank is seeking a part-time Teller to accurately process deposits and loan transactions while upholding policies, while delivering superior customer service and referring bank products when appropriate.

Starting salary is $18.00 an hour and up, with about 25 hours per week and most Saturdays. Requirements include a high school diploma and 6 months of cash handling or customer service experience; additional cash handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cash handling and/or customer service experience
• Co-op participation and/or previous cash handling/retail experience

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions with accuracy and integrity
• Support sales by identifying customer needs and referring to bank products
• Maintain knowledge of bank systems, products, policies and regulatory requirements
• Build strong customer relationships and provide a superior banking experience
• Answer customer questions and resolve account issues in person or by phone
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes
• Follow policies, procedures and applicable laws
• Other duties as assigned
