Job summary

Spartan in Broomfield, CO is seeking a part-time dispatcher to authorize, regulate, and control flights in compliance with government and company regulations to expedite and ensure flight safety. The role involves coordinating fuel, scheduling, and documentation for flight operations, and maintaining professional dispatch areas with a customer-friendly attitude.

The position requires a High School diploma and may require up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Request amount of fuel, oil, deicing needed to line service from student or instructor, and fuel regulations prescribed by FAA.
• Guide and direct students in scheduling flight operations and utilization of aircraft.
• Responsible for arrival/end-of-day inspection of the for security.
• Schedule, plan, and control the dispatch of aircraft, report all schedule changes, and student/instructor “no shows” daily.
• Review documentation to release flight for takeoff including financial means to pay for flight scheduling flight.
• Coordinate with instructors to ensure students for flight.
