Job summary

Hillsboro Aero Academy is seeking a friendly and organized dispatcher to join our Hillsboro campus team. You will help maintain a safe and efficient flight environment for customers and staff and handle daily scheduling tasks.

The role is part-time (about 15–25 hours per week) with evening and weekend availability required. Entry-level position starting at minimum wage; familiarity with Microsoft Office helps, and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Experience with aviation or scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety standards for the flight environment.
• Maintain and optimize aircraft schedules after daily posting.
• Enter maintenance data into tracking systems and monitor due times.
• Coordinate with maintenance for scheduled and unscheduled work.
• Bill customers and employees for services.
• Operate aviation radio and multi-line phone.
• Audit flight logs for accurate billing.
• Support dispatch office organization and projects.

Job Description:

Hillsboro Aero Academy is looking for an outgoing, well-organized individual with excellent customer service skills to join the dispatch team at our Hillsboro campus. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient flight environment for customers and employees from around the world.

Please note: This is a non-certified dispatcher position.

Job Duties:

• Uphold safety standards of HAA
• Maintain and optimize aircraft schedule after daily posting by Scheduling Team
• Accurate aircraft maintenance data entry into tracking systems, and constant vigilance of aircraft inspection due times
• Communicate directly with maintenance department for scheduled and unscheduled resource maintenance
• Invoice customers and employees for services and materials
• Aviation radio and multi-line phone
• Auditing flight logs for accurate billing
• Projects as assigned by management team
• Dispatch office organization and upkeep

Qualifications/Licenses:

• Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
