Job summary

River Oaks KIA is seeking a Part-Time Porter to help keep the lot and showroom vehicles clean and ready for customers. The Porter will move units, assist with deliveries, and transport customers as needed, maintaining safe and orderly operations.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. The Ed Napleton Automotive Group offers a potential pay range of $15.00-$16.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth into other roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate an automobile.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen per local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and transport vehicles as directed.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries and ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair.
• Move vehicles from storage and deliver to storage or other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related clean-up and general maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Located at River Oaks KIA, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
