Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Carmel, IN is seeking a Porter to maintain vehicle lot presentation, move units as directed by managers, and assist with customer deliveries.

This entry-level role offers pay ranges of $15.00-$20.00 per hour, plus benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k, paid vacation, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license is required.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries.
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

Located at Napleton's Carmel area dealerships, (Hyundai, Genesis, KIA, Italian Imports,) thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.
